Beamline for Schools Sees Record Submissions in 2026

The Beamline for Schools (BL4S) initiative at CERN has achieved a record milestone for its 2026 edition, receiving 712 submissions from 4,051 students across 89 countries. This represents a 40% increase compared to the previous year, highlighting the growing interest and engagement in scientific education among students globally. Since its inception in 2014, BL4S has encouraged young minds to explore the field of particle physics through hands-on experiments and collaboration.
